Take Your Tracks To The Next Level...
The great thing about owning a multi-track or computer DAW is that it gives anyone
the ability to take their time writing, arranging, and recording their music. You also have the ability to export the individual tracks for editing and mixing. Cold Wave Audio uses Pro Tools 7.3 and Sonar 7 running on a custom built computer network designed to deliver great mixes. We have a great collection of high quality effects, including the SSL 4000, because every brand of compressor, eq, reverb, and delay sounds different. So no matter what kind of music you have, it's gonna sound good. Your tracks are mixed on a pair of Yamaha NS-10M studio monitors, as well as a pair of Sony SACD loudspeakers, in a room made for mixing. If you aren't happy with your current mixes, then it's time to
hear what Cold Wave Audio can do for you.
Here are some guidelines to help make your project go smoothly.
1. Don't add things like reverb, delay, compression, or eq.
Leave that for the mixing stage.
2. When exporting your tracks, be sure to set the export start time at 0, or set at the first measure. When all of the tracks are exported with the same start time, they will all line up correctly when we import them for mixing.
3. We also accept Cakewalk bundles and Pro Tools session files.
4. Audio files can be WAV or AIF. Audio quality can be 16 or 24 bit,
recorded at 44.1khz, 48khz, or 96khz.
5. If you have the option of applying dither, don't.
